Golden Plover

The Golden Plover is definitely what you would call “Cute”. You will often see a large flock of them standing still with their heads resting on their backs. Until they spook, then they all take to the air. This shot was taken at Broadmeadows Estuary, Swords, County Dublin. The camera was set to Programme mode – 1/500th of a second, F8, ISO 200, 300mm focal length.

This little guy below seems to want to go a different way!

When they take to the air, it is some sight!

It seems a little crowded!
