Meadow Pippit

The meadow Pippit is common across Ireland and can often be seen in parkland areas and along coastal areas.

They will tolerate your presence to a certain degree and will often allow you to get quite close!

They are very similar to rock pippits who have more streaking and are have a darker breast. They are also similar to Skylarks who have a crest on the top of their head which makes it easier to tell the difference.
